Via Ferrata Climbing Experience
Explore the "iron road."
Tuesday June 26 | Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Via Ferrata (which is Italian for “iron road”) offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the breathtaking views of the area, even if they aren't an experienced mountain climber. Assisted by an experienced climbing guide, guests are secured with cables and move across a mountain face by way of metal ladders, rope walkways and ledges. It’s a bit of a workout—hauling yourself up tiny ladders and inching across rope bridges, while being safe-and-sound using carabiners and ropes. But the effort is handsomely rewarded with amazing views into the Grand Teton National Forest. Includes all required safety equipment and gear rental (harness, shoes, helmet and landyards). Lunch is not provided on this activity - grab some grub before arriving.
1:00 PM – Gather in Four Seasons lobby; departing promptly
1:10 PM – Arrive at Teton Village to meet guides (Via Ferrata is within walking distance from here)
1:30 PM – Activity orientation and gearing up
1:50 PM – Begin activity
5:00 PM – Return to Four Seasons
